• The solid, lightweight design of the all-aluminum alloy casing, weighing only 62 kg, ensures easy installation. All Sungrow solar inverters are designed with separate boards for easy replacement and maintenance over the operational lifespan.
• The integrated software allows users to monitor intelligent current across each string, scan, and diagnose online on the current-voltage curve. Based on advanced system and diagnostics, it accurately locates abnormal PV positions. Remote data upgrades provide convenient O&M operations.
• The integrated Recovery PID function addresses the effects of PID on the system. PID, or Potential-Induced Degradation, is a complex process with various influencing factors. It leads to degradation in both individual solar panels and entire strings over time. The system’s power output can decrease by up to 90% due to PID. The Recovery PID function can repair degraded PV panels and increase productivity by up to 10%.
• Sungrow 50kW grid-tie inverter is designed to be compatible with both copper and aluminum AC cables, providing flexibility in design and optimizing installation costs. It can also connect two DC cables in 1, replacing the traditional method of connecting DC cables, thus saving DC electrical cable costs.
• With an IP66 protection rating for the inverter, IP68 rating for the cooling fan, and corrosion protection rating of C5, the Sungrow 50kW grid-tie inverter is capable of withstanding extremely harsh environments. It is well-suited for various installation scenarios and harsh environments such as coastal areas in Vietnam.
• The inverter features night-time reactive power (Q) function, Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT) capability to overcome low voltage incidents, High Voltage Ride Through (HVRT) capability to withstand high voltage events, active power and reactive power control, and ramp rate control for power increase.

Grid safety:

Sungrow 50kW grid-tied inverter integrates protection features such as reverse polarity protection for DC, short-circuit protection for AC, ground fault protection, along with surge protection rated at Level II for both DC and AC. It complies with safety grid regulations and adheres to the following standards: IEC 62109, IEC 61727, IEC 62116.
