Mersen DC Surge Protection Device – DC Power Line Protection
The ISP2-40K1000V-PV series is a line of devices providing enhanced overvoltage protection for photovoltaic systems by utilizing a thermally optimized disconnect system by Mersen, which eliminates the need for additional overcurrent protection (backup fuses) due to its high short-circuit withstand rating. These surge protection devices are suitable for all PV applications: large-scale DC installations, rooftop, and off-grid systems. The series includes specific multi-pole devices for multiple MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) inverters.
