Grid-tied Inverter Sungrow 5 kW with Energy Storage | SH5.0RT
Officially distributed by XBSolar Corporation, this string inverter model features 2 independent MPPTs with a maximum efficiency of up to 98.5%, compatible with various types of solar panels (mono, poly, bifacial, and thin-film technologies). The system configuration is highly flexible, allowing for a DC/AC ratio design of up to 130%. With a range of superior features, users can experience maximum comfort with various communication and monitoring options, facilitating easy operation and maintenance through the Isolarcloud web platform or application.
- The solid one-piece aluminum alloy housing design of the Sungrow grid-tied inverter, weighing only 27 kg, facilitates easy installation. Integrated with convenient connectors like MC4, Sunclix (Battery), and AC (Plug and Play), it helps reduce installation time and labor costs. All Sungrow solar inverters are designed with separate boards for easy replacement and maintenance over time.
- The system’s operating voltage range for the storage batteries is from 150 to 600 Vdc. It has the capability to expand parallel connections up to 5 inverters, increasing the total power to 30 kW when operating in backup mode (grid loss). The switchover time for backup mode is less than 20ms, ensuring continuous power supply to critical loads such as cameras, lighting, elevators, refrigerators, fans, air conditioners, etc. The system can deliver 100% output power to unbalanced loads on each separate phase when running in backup mode. Its rapid charging/discharging power meets all needs, including energy circulation and backup mode load power.
- The integrated software allows users to monitor smart current on each string, scan, and diagnose online using the current-voltage curve (Online IV curve scan and diagnosis). Leveraging advanced system and diagnostics, it accurately identifies the location of abnormal PV conditions. Remote data upgrading is convenient for operational and maintenance tasks (O&M).
- The integrated Recovery PID function addresses the effects of Potential-Induced Degradation (PID) on the system. PID is a complex process with multiple influencing factors. It leads to a decline in performance not only of individual PV panels but also of entire strings containing affected panels. The system’s power output can decrease by up to 90% over time due to PID. The Recovery PID feature is designed to rectify degraded PV panels, potentially increasing system productivity by up to 10%.
- With its IP65-rated protection against intrusion for the inverter, IP68-rated protection for the cooling fan, and corrosion protection level of C5, the Sungrow 5kW grid-tied inverter with backup capability is well-equipped to withstand harsh environments, making it suitable for various installation scenarios, including those in coastal areas like Vietnam.
- The LVRT (Low Voltage Ride Through) capability enables the system to withstand and recover from low voltage events, while the HVRT (High Voltage Ride Through) feature ensures resilience against high voltage incidents. Additionally, the inverter allows for active power and reactive power control, as well as control over the rate of power increase.
Grid Safety:
- Sungrow 5kW grid-tied inverter with backup capability integrates various protective features such as DC reverse polarity protection, AC short-circuit protection, and ground fault protection, along with surge protection rated at level II for both DC and AC. It complies with safety regulations and fully adheres to standards including IEC/EN 62109-1, IEC/EN 62109-2, IEC/EN 61000-6-1, IEC/EN 61000-6-3, IEC/EN 61000-3, EN 62477-1, VDE-AR-N-4105, and AS/NZS 4777.2.
