PRODUCT INFORMATION

Grid-tied Inverter Sungrow 8 kW with Energy Storage | SH8.0RT

Officially distributed by XBSolar Joint Stock Company, the String Inverter line features 2 independent MPPTs with a maximum efficiency of up to 98.4%, compatible with various types of solar panels (mono, poly, glass-glass, and thin-film technology). With a range of superior features, users can experience comfortable operation and maintenance with communication and monitoring options via the Isolarcloud web platform or app.

  • The solid aluminum alloy casing design with a lightweight of only 27 kg makes installation effortless. Integrated MC4, Sunclix (Battery), AC (Plug and Play) connectors reduce installation time and labor. All Sungrow solar inverters are designed with separate boards for easy replacement and maintenance over the operational lifetime.
  • The system’s operating voltage range for the storage battery is from 150 to 600 Vdc. It can expand parallel connections with up to 5 inverters, increasing the total power to 40 kW in backup mode (grid blackout). The switchover time for backup mode is less than 20ms, ensuring continuous power supply for essential electrical appliances such as cameras, lighting, elevators, refrigerators, fans, air conditioners, etc. It has the capability to deliver 100% output power to unbalanced loads on each separate phase during backup mode. Fast charging/discharging power meets all needs, such as energy transfer and load power during backup mode.
  • The integrated software allows users to monitor intelligent current across each string, scan and diagnose online through the IV curve and voltage curve. Based on advanced system and diagnosis, it accurately locates abnormal PV positions. Remote data upgrading facilitates convenient operation and maintenance (O&M).
  • The integrated Recovery PID function addresses the effects of Potential-Induced Degradation (PID) on the system. PID is a complex process with multiple influencing factors. It leads to a decline in performance not only of individual PV panels but also of entire strings containing affected panels. The system’s power output can decrease by up to 90% over time due to PID. The Recovery PID feature is designed to rectify degraded PV panels, potentially increasing system productivity by up to 10%.
  • With intrusion protection rating of IP65 for the inverter and IP68 for the cooling fan, along with corrosion protection level C5, the Sungrow 8kW grid-tie inverter with energy storage capability is highly resilient to harsh environments. It is suitable for various installation scenarios and can withstand challenging conditions, including coastal areas in Vietnam.
  • The LVRT (Low Voltage Ride Through) capability enables the system to withstand and recover from low voltage events, while the HVRT (High Voltage Ride Through) feature ensures resilience against high voltage incidents. Additionally, the inverter allows for active power and reactive power control, as well as control over the rate of power increase.

Grid safety:

Grid-tied inverter with energy storage Sungrow 8kW integrates protection features such as DC reverse polarity protection, AC short circuit protection, and ground fault protection, along with surge protection rated at Level II for both DC and AC. It complies with safety grid regulations and meets all standards including IEC/EN 62109-1, IEC/EN 62109-2, IEC/EN 61000-6-1, IEC/EN 61000-6-3, IEC/EN 61000-3, EN 62477-1, VDE-AR-N-4105, AS/NZS 4777.2.
