The system configuration is flexible, allowing for a DC/AC ratio of up to 130%. - The solid aluminum alloy casing design with a lightweight of only 11.5 kg facilitates easy installation. The integrated MC4 connectors reduce installation time and labor. Sungrow’s solar inverters are all designed with separate boards, making it easy to replace and repair them over the operational period.
- The integrated Recovery PID function addresses the effects of Potential-Induced Degradation (PID) on the system. PID is a complex process with multiple influencing factors. It leads to a decline in performance not only of individual PV panels but also of entire strings containing affected panels. The system’s power output can decrease by up to 90% over time due to PID. The Recovery PID feature is designed to rectify degraded PV panels, potentially increasing system productivity by up to 10%.
- With an IP65 rating for the inverter’s intrusion protection and corrosion resistance rated as C5, the Sungrow 5kW grid-tied inverter exhibits robust durability suitable for various installation scenarios, including harsh environments like coastal areas in Vietnam.

- Sungrow 5kW grid-tied inverter integrates protection features such as DC reverse polarity protection, AC short circuit protection, and ground fault protection, along with AC surge protection rated at level II. It complies with safety grid regulations and adheres fully to standards including IEC 62109-1, IEC 62109-2, IEC 62116, IEC 61727, EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-3, ABNT NBR 16149, and ABNT NBR 16150.
